I know the site hasn’t seen much content recently, but that is all changing as of today! I’ve been spending a lot of time with my colleague Hilary on our podcast An Incomplete History. If you haven’t had a chance, please check it out.
This site is going to be both a place for my other professional work, including courses and research, it is also going to be a space where I can pursue histories of less serious material…think geek history!
I’m quite the gamer, tabletop, pen and paper, computer, etc., and I want to delve into the general histories of those things as well as broader issues related to geek-centric history.
The current situation with Covid-19 has found me sitting in front of my computer much more than I usually would. I’ve had an opportunity to revisit some beloved classics…computer game classics that is. That will be my first area of inquiry.
Please note, while I may link places you can purchase the games I mention in my research, I receive no compensation if you purchase those games. I’m sharing the links so you can try them out yourself. Game on!
